Funeral Memory Folders

My grandmother passed away over the weekend and I am in Michigan this week to attend her funeral. She was 91 and lived a good life. It had been heart-warming to look back at old photographs of Grandma and witness the joy on her face as she spent time with her family. I especially love the photos of her with her grandchildren (me included!) and her great grandchildren (my kids).

We printed extra prints of our favorite photos of Grandma to put out at the visitation and funeral luncheon so that family and friends could take them home. Of course, as stampers, we couldn't just set photos out on their own! My dad requested "folders" so that the photos would be protected and could be tucked into a purse. This is what we came up with! Very simple, but dressed up just a little.
I printed the text from the computer and then punched and stamped it. The cardstock is 7" x 10", folded in half. We used the retired Slit Punch to punch little notches to hold the photos. (Sorry in advance...I have NO idea where you can find this punch these days.)
This photo is from my parents' wedding. I love her smile! God bless you, Grandma!
